Nasal Surgery Avoided

Rani Dutta, 37 from India

Background

When I first reached out to Sara for health coaching, I honestly wanted only to lose some weight and reduce a few allergy issues that had been bothering me for years.

At the time, I was scheduled for nasal surgery in two weeks. I had been suffering from severe sinus issues for as long as I could remember—constant congestion, difficulty breathing through my nose, frequent sneezing, and recurring infections.

Doctors told me I had significant mucosal thickening, and that my nasal bone had actually become “crooked” because of the chronic inflammation. Surgery felt like my only option. I was nervous. I had been dealing with these problems for so long that I didn’t believe my body was capable of healing on its own anymore.

When I shared this with Sara, I was surprised by her response. She told me, very calmly and respectfully, that nasal bone surgery was quite invasive and asked if I would be open to exploring another path first—one that focused on healing my body from the inside out through food, lifestyle, and targeted support.

Sara didn’t pressure me nor dismiss my doctors’ opinions. She simply asked if I was willing to try. Something about the way she explained it made sense to me. I said yes. That “yes” turned out to be one of the most important decisions I have made for my health.

My Health History

I signed up for Sara’s three-month signature detox program, initially thinking of it as something I would try before going ahead with the surgery.

From the very beginning, the process felt different from anything I had experienced before. Instead of just focusing on my weight or my sinus symptoms in isolation, she took the time to thoroughly analyze my health history and gently helped me see how everything in my body was connected.

In our first two meetings, we didn’t do anything extreme. There were no drastic restrictions or overwhelming rules.

Small Changes, Big Results

We started with small, manageable changes to my eating habits, my daily routine, and how I supported my body. I was surprised to learn how my eating habits had been contributing to my health issues.

Even though the changes felt simple, the results were anything but. Within a short time, I noticed that my nasal congestion was starting to ease. I could breathe more freely. My head felt clearer. For the first time in years, I felt a sense of hope.

That’s when I became fully committed.

Sara helped me understand that my sinus issues weren’t just something that just happened, or something I had to live with. They were closely linked to inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, gut health, and an immune system that had been under strain for a very long time.

My Health Struggles

When we looked deeper, it became clear why my body had been struggling. I had:

  • Bleeding gums
  • Frequent calf and leg cramps
  • Morning joints stiffness
  • Constipation
  • Nausea despite not being pregnant
  • Foggy memory, unable to concentrate
  • Yeast infection
  • Bloating, belching, bad breath
  • Weak immune system
  • Various food allergies

Looking back now, it’s almost unbelievable how many symptoms I had accepted as “normal.”

Sara introduced a simple gastrointestinal detox to help clear my gut and give my body the chance to reset, to create a right internal environment for healing to happen.

My Health Goals

One of my original health goals was to lose 10 kg (about 22 lbs), so that I could fit comfortably into my jeans again. What I didn’t realize was that by supporting my gut, reducing inflammation, and nourishing my body properly, the weight loss would become a natural side bonus, rather than a constant struggle.

Sara taught me to adjust my diet to suit my lifestyle, my culture, and my religious beliefs. I never felt like I had to fight against who I was or how I lived. Instead, I felt supported and understood. This made it much easier to stay consistent and actually enjoy the process.

After just our first session, my morning sneezing had reduced dramatically. Sara had pointed out what I have been doing that was causing the morning sneezes.

For years, waking up meant immediate sneezing fits and a blocked nose. Suddenly, I could breathe. My throat felt less scratchy. I was sleeping better at night and waking up with more energy.

It Kept Getting Better

These early wins motivated me to keep going. As the weeks passed:

  • My digestion improved significantly
  • My bloating and belching reduced
  • My bowel movements became regular
  • PMS symptoms disappeared and menstrual cycle normalized
  • Candida symptoms were under control
  • Sinus issues much reduced
  • No longer needed to undergo the nasal surgery

I could breathe freely, my congestion was gone, and the chronic inflammation that had once controlled my life was no longer in charge.

Avoiding such an invasive procedure felt nothing short of miraculous—a result of giving my body what it had been missing for years.

Empowerment And Accountability

Another thing I deeply appreciated was the level of care and follow-up Sara provided.

After every session, she would send me a written summary of what we discussed, along with clear and practical suggestions I could implement. This helped me stay accountable and made the entire process feel structured and supportive rather than overwhelming.

I’ll be honest—I did my part too. I followed Sara’s suggestions closely because, for the first time, I could actually feel my body responding positively. That positive feedback loop made it easier to stay consistent, and consistency is what led to real, lasting change.

Empowered

Today, I feel empowered. I understand my body. I adjusted my eating habits in a way that supports my immune system, my gut, and my overall well-being.

Most importantly, I no longer feel helpless when it comes to my health. If my sinus issues ever show signs of returning, I know exactly what to do. I am no longer dependent on invasive procedures or quick fixes.

Grateful

Even though I didn’t completely achieve my weight loss goal of 10kg in that three months, I understood how to eat better. Sara explained that when I’m healthy, my body will work itself towards its ideal weight.

My allergies improved. My digestion, hormones, and energy levels are better than they have been in years. But beyond all of that, I gained something far more valuable: confidence in my body’s ability to heal and trust in myself to take care of it.

I am incredibly grateful for this experience and for the guidance I received. What started as a simple desire to lose weight and manage allergies, turned into a complete transformation of my health and my mindset.

I am living proof that when you address the root causes, give your body the right support, and work with someone who truly listens and understands, real healing is possible.
